Last night was all about Adele. The singer swept the Brit Awards, taking home the majority of the major accolades, including British Album of the Year, British Song of the Year and Artist of the Year, while she also performed on stage, much to the crowd's delight.
For the occasion, which marked her first major award show appearance in years, Adele pulled out all the stops, stepping out in three spectacular looks.
Adele started the night in an elegant design by Armani Privé, walking the red carpet in the dress. The gown was made from black velvet and featured a delicate tulle neckline, which wrapped around her shoulders and then fell down her back into a train that swept along behind her.

Later in the night, for her performance, Adele opted for a shimmering Valentino dress, which was covered in sequins, featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and ruffled sleeves. The gown had been especially designed for her by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, and she teamed it with Valentino Garavani Atelier shoes.

For her final ensemble of the evening, the singer opted for something mini in the form of a short, black, tuxedo jacket-inspired dress with off-the-shoulder detail by Marianna Senchina (which you can buy here).
She paired it with thick black tights, House of Harlow jewellery and black heels, and posed with her awards backstage.

Her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, shared plenty of behind-the-scenes details of the singer's ensembles, two of which were created custom for the night.
It was an exciting and emotional evening for the singer, who thanks not just her son, but also her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, in one of her acceptance speeches.
"This album was all of our journey, not just mine, and I’m very proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out an album that was so personal to me – ’cause not many people do that any more," she said. "My son has been so kind and gracious and patient with me over the years."
